Dear Members,
Starting this coming week, Monday, June 3, our hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will still operate from 10 a.m. to 7 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the months of June and July. Our Saturday hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Our Sunday hours will be 1 to 6 p.m. We will update any closures due to weather or other circumstance via our Facebook page as well as on this website home page blog.

The following message was sent to members via email. We have had some updated bullet points to remember since it was sent out.
Dear Members,
As we start the summer and the busy Memorial Day weekend, the swim club board would like to address a few items that will help both staff, members and guests:
• Our bathrooms/changing rooms have been set up for convenience, but also for safety and gender appropriation. We expect both areas to be used with decorum in mind for everyone. We don’t tolerate inappropriate behavior related to the respective areas. We also ask that your swimwear attire also be appropriate.
• Please be mindful of the lifeguards and their commands related to your children. We want everyone to enjoy themselves completely while here, but the directions handed down by the guards need to be followed to ensure safety for everyone. The adult swim at the 50-minute mark of each hour is also necessary to serve as a break for these guards.
• We ask that only ages 5 and under only be in the kiddie pool. Older siblings are the only allowed exception in this area.
• No backflips or handstand flips from the diving board.
• We are expecting a busy weekend. We welcome coolers at the pool, and we will also have snacks available for purchase. You can start a tab using your family number, but we ask that you please settle up with our staff before leaving if possible.
• We also ask for parents to be mindful of seating and to store extra items in our changing rooms to make sure seats are available. You are also able to bring any personal chairs to the pool since it will be busy.

May 24, 2024 Update
We are having to close the pool early Friday due to an incident that will require us to shock the pool. We will re-open again on Saturday, May 25.
May 22, 2024 Update
Due the the increased threat of inclement weather, the swim club is closed for the rest of Wednesday as of 4:15 p.m. We will be back open again on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m.
May 20, 2024 Update
Dear Members,
We have great news: We will go full time this week (May 20-24) for members who can visit. Our hours this week will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The last day of school at Oxford Middle is the 23rd, so our suggestion is to arrive by 3:15 and leave after 4. We can't wait to see everyone.
May 19, 2024 Update
Dear Members,
We are back open on Sunday, May 19 until 6 p.m. We've had a couple of nice, soft weekends to get the staff ready for what we are hoping for is a great, great summer. We have started to secure a number of parties, and started to get some swim lessons scheduled.
This coming week (May 20-May 24) will be our first to be open during the week. Our college-aged lifeguards are working on their schedule. We will look to provide another update in the morning (May 20). Please follow our Facebook @oxfordswimclub for updates. We will also email the current members. May 2, 2024 Update
Dear Members,
So much has been done heading into the season, and we still have a few more things to address:
The diving board IS fixed now. That was the biggest offseason desire by the membership.
We have cut trees along all of the fence line. Sod has been installed over the volleyball court. We have corn hole and other games for the kids to utilize.
We we still utilize adult swim time period for 10 minutes each hour.
Our "soft" opening will take place Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. The forecast is filled with rain, but we are going ahead and opening. This will allow for kinks to be worked out.

March 2024 Update
The board voted to extend the hours of the pool, and we will now operate from until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. We will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. We hope these hours will help working families swim and spend time together longer.
We will start collecting dues for the 2024 summer season on March 1. Anyone who pays between March 1 and April 1 will receive a $25 discount. The cost of a renewal is $400 during this opening month, and $450 after April 1.
We have contacted lifeguards from 2023, and we continue to take applications for lifeguards. Anyone who is interested in becoming a lifeguard, or working at the front counter, can email oxfordswimclub@gmail.com. All candidates MUST be certified or obtain certification prior to the summer.
We look forward to a great summer, and we will continue to communicate through email, our website and Facebook page @oxfordswimclub through the spring and into the summer.
