We are so excited to be sending you this message about what's been going on at the Swim Club, and what the summer is looking like at this moment:
The diving board will be fixed in time for the club opening. I know many of you have asked about that during the offseason, and we just secured how that will be installed this past week.
Water has remained in the pool over the break, so that will allow us to open on May 4, which is the first Saturday of the month.
The board voted to extend the hours of the pool, and we will now operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. We will open at 1 p.m. on Sunday and close at 6 p.m. We hope these hours will help working families swim and spend time together longer.
We will start collecting dues for the 2024 summer season on March 1. Anyone who pays between March 1 and April 1 will receive a $25 discount. The cost of a renewal is $400 during this opening month, and $450 after April 1.
We have contacted lifeguards from 2023, and we continue to take applications for lifeguards. Anyone who is interested in becoming a lifeguard, or working at the front counter, can email oxfordswimclub@gmail.com. All candidates MUST be certified or obtain certification prior to the summer.
